It’s January: Corvallis Indoor Winter Market Time Is Here Again

By Carla Wise
9 January 2012

Opening day for the Corvallis Indoor Winter Market is this Saturday, January 14th. If you’ve been missing the farmers’ markets since they closed in mid-November, you’ll find the Indoor Market a great alternative.  The market will be open from 9 AM to 1 PM every Saturday at Guerber Hall at the Benton County Fairgrounds from now through mid-April.  It’s a great mix of food producers, craftspeople, bakers and others selling food, art, flowers, yarn, jewelry, dog treats, and other surprises.

There are two ways to keep up on what’s happening at the Corvallis Indoor Winter Market, including the music schedule, vendors, and specials from your computer: the Winter Market Blog, and the Winter Market facebook page.  Otherwise, just drop by on Saturday!

This will be the third winter that this wonderful market has been open each week.  Previously, the Winter Market was open only alternate Saturdays.  It seems that the change has helped the market thrive: 45 vendors are already listed for the 2012 season.
